Death Cafe for Queers

Welcome to a Death Cafe for queers at Reclaim Pride, Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus, August 1st 2024, 1-2pm. The event is free.

A Death Cafe is an opportunity to meet others and talk about perhaps the most important topics of them all – death, and how to make the most out of the life we have left. A Death Cafe is not group therapy or counselling, but a warm environment where death, loss, grief, solidarity and hope can be shared in a space that is different than a funeral or a memorial. It is a held and confidential space. This Death Cafe is open to queers of all genders and identities and aims to acknowledge how death and grief affects our lives as queers, both historically and contemporary.
Tea, coffee and vegan cake (gluten free, nut free) will be served. Please be on time!
The Death Cafe is hosted by Rev Zafira Vrba Woodski, a queer Death Doula and Interfaith Minister based in Stockholm.
