An Ahuman Encounter With Life & Death-a (r)evolutionary ceremony with Rev Zafira
What do we become once we transcend beyond our human borders?
We are pleased to invite you to an evening of (r)evolutionary transcendence and transformation, as artist, educator and death doula Rev. Zafira Vrba Woodski kindly guides us beyond human limitations, and into ahuman territory. By their side, Zafira has the choir of Queerorkestern. Together, we will explore death, life, power, and radical potentialities for queer bodies through a gentle, participatory performance ceremony.
Guests are encouraged to bring something non-material — such as an image, a vision or a spirit — which will be activated during the ceremony. The ceremony will be followed by a short artist talk.

Rev. Zafira Vrba Woodski is a Swedish-Czech artist, writer, educator, death doula and Interfaith Minister based in Stockholm and Gothenburg. Zafira works with digital media, performance, photography, video and installations. Their work explores queer kinship, trans history and contemporary archeology. Since 2023, Zafira also runs High Heel Funerals & Ceremonies, offering spiritual support and celebrations to the lgbtqia+ communities.
